Sarthak Dasgupta is a published author, a visionary writer, and a maverick director rolled into one. He has penned and helmed the critically acclaimed OTT series ‘Dharavi Bank’ on MX Player, the film 200: Halla Ho on Zee5, and award-winning scripts like The Music Teacher on Netflix. Sizable TV outings such as Savdhaan India, Saubhagyavati Bhava, Uttaran, and Adaalat have flourished under his creative direction. To us, he is both the kaleidoscope and the eye.

Parth Arora is an experienced Chief Operating Officer, who brings over 25 years of expertise in the film and television industry. With a strong strategic vision, he has effectively managed numerous projects from inception to completion, ensuring the alignment of talent and resources within strict timelines and budgets. Formerly at Netflix, he oversaw successful series like “The Fame Game” and films such as “Serious Men.“ His tenure at Fox Star Studios yielded box-office hits and acclaimed projects like “Bang Bang” and “Neerja.” With a background spanning from assistant director roles to producing independent feature films, Parth has honed his skills at companies like Dharma Productions and White Feather Films. A graduate of Delhi University and the International Film & Television Workshops, Parth brings a blend of industry knowledge and storytelling prowess to The Salt Inc.

After working for 12 years in advertising, Mihir has a work experience worth 24. That’s how involved and passionate he has been with and about advertising. He has worked with agencies such as Ogilvy, WYP, Webchutney, and has won 40-odd international awards including 2 Cannes Lions, a Clio Grand Prix, several APAC as well as India Effies, London International Awards, and many Kyoorious and Abby’s among other awards.

Some of his famous work includes #LaughAtDeath for Palliative Care Association of India; #HarBhashaEqual for Daily Hunt; The Longest Tweet for Urzza; and his work on brands such as ITC Vivel, Amazon, Everest Roofs, Asian Paints. While independent, he worked on Sachin Tendulkar’s digital presence, and on brands such as Singapore Tourism, BPCL and others.

His perpetual quest is thinking of ‘The Big Idea’ and translating it onto new and newer media. He loves thinking brands, strategy and positioning, and believes that the best way to be effective is to be creative.

Besides, Mihir has authored two books of poetry, ‘Hyphenated’ and ‘School of Age’; wrote and directed the short film ‘Hello Brick Road’; and often finds himself writing features for newspapers such as The Hindustan Times and The Wire. 

A seasoned professional with over 16 years of experience in sales and business development, Rahul brings a genuine warmth and equanimity to every conversation. His love for food and heavy riffs brings that burst of flavour.

Sagar is a data-driven marketer with over a decade of experience across consumer retail, software products, and social impact ventures. Being an experienced growth consultant, a remarkable interaction designer, and a responsible workaholic, he juggles the fundamentals of design, marketing, and economics to craft scalable ideologies and sellable identities. When not at work, he can be mostly found dissecting poetry, music, and social computing. Startup startup is his favourite sport.

Ravi is a seasoned Creative Director, Artist, and Chef, who resides in the scenic town of Manali. With over 12 years of creative experience collaborating with digital agencies and brands worldwide. Ravi runs an art studio and a café, where his passion for food, art and randomness converges. His unique approach makes him a dynamic force in culinary and artistic communities.

A proficient visualiser and ideator with over 17 years across print, identity, and web design, Somnath is as much of a marathoner at work as he is on the streets. His patience, tenacity and drive for learning will leave most art directors trailing behind.

Tarun takes care of product development and services at The Salt Inc. A media measurement product specialist with 20+ years of experience, Tarun has donned many hats, from developing products for Kantar/IMRB to running a successful startup, and also consulting businesses and government departments (in India and US). Driven by curiosity and fuelled by specialty coffee, Rohan is a petroleum engineer-turned quizmaster that ended up as a brand strategist. A man of real twists and turns. Over 7 short years he has worked across ad tech and media, in marketing, strategy and sales enablement roles. If you’re looking for some fresh, well-seasoned perspective, he’s your guy.

Pulkit, our resident problem-solving and product guy, is the brains behind our product adventures. He’s the driving force behind our product vision, skillfully shaping its blueprint. When he is not turning chaos into order, you’ll find him exploring OTT content, watching war-dramas and thrillers, unraveling the mysteries of geopolitics or savoring life’s guilty pleasures.

Rahul is driven and a team player with a diverse array of interests and a fervent dedication to personal and professional growth. He is a Jr. Software Developer who brings a unique perspective shaped by his enthusiasm. From his love of sports activities to the serene tranquillity of meditation, each interest contributes to his holistic development and fuels his drive for brilliance. Long form content is her expertise, but short-form content is her newfound passion. She feels she writes better when listening to old-school rock and tapping to retro beats.

In addition to his design work, Chinmay manages a thriving Airbnb business, where he creates welcoming spaces that reflect his keen eye for aesthetics and hospitality. As the overseer of the sales division, he expertly manages both the media and content aspects of the operations. With a master’s degree in business administration under his belt, he brings a deep understanding of strategic management and market dynamics to the table. Having spent two years in the advertising industry, he has finely honed his skills in client engagement, market analysis, and campaign execution, all geared towards effectively promoting and disseminating our brand message.

Himanshu’s childhood unfolded against the vibrant backdrop of Rajasthan, where tales flowed as naturally as the desert winds. His engineering degree, though completed, left a void, an unfulfilled yearning for something more.
